5/16/21: Last weeks Trading

Last week I did not trade much live as there was a new version of the algo, ran a bunch of settings in SIM, but that said the one set of settings I did run was very promising:

This week there is yet another new and improved version of the algo, have been scrambling to get settings validated and set for trading start at 6PM EST. Fortunately the AlgoNinja group is very open and sharing so the team is working on settings for trading this week. So this week I intend to be trading in MES and MNQ, also running MBT in SIM.

New – Health and Nutrition Page

Not a trading post, will post on that tomorrow, but as a unrelated topic I have added a Health and Nutrition page to the site. The first topic I cover is a product that I have been using for the past year that is truly awesome. It is sold as a weight loss product, I take it because it really helps my sleep and it really works, oh and I have lost significant weight as well. Jump on over and read up on it, send me a message if you have any questions.

5/14/21: Bitcoin Futures

So for some of you who may not know CME has added a Micro offering for Bitcoin futures with a much more reasonable intraday margin requirement of $500 as of May 1st (MBT) as compared to $40,000 for BTC. With that I have been letting it traded for a couple of weeks to get some data and history on it, which is needed to do back testing and get some parameters to use in a Algo. With that I ran some testing last night and have found some settings to try using Renko Bars and have found the following:

Now looking at this the Profit Factor is solid, the Percent profitable is as well, most interesting to me is that the average win value is about the same as the average loss. So with that said even with the win rate being say 60% vs 80% this algo should still make money. Keeping in mind that this is based on only a couple of weeks of data we have no real idea on how well this will turn out over time, but I will be running this in SIM.

5/12/21: Mid Week Update

Given the new algo version last weekend I am still running my settings primarily in simulation, but this said there is yet another new version in release so I am debating cutting over to the newer version.

AlgoNinja is constantly updating the code being used, taking into account the years of experience within the group to refine the algos, this DOES NOT happen with the other product I have reviewed.

That said here are my results in live and sim trading from 5/9 to today as of 3:40 PM EST.

5/8/21: Week 1 Algo Ninja

Week one using AlgoNinja algorithms in live trading, net profit before fees and commissions is $177 profit trading MNQ on (3) contracts. was a rough week in the market overall with the jobs report etc.. Still testing settings on the Stochastic system in simulated trading, results on those settings showed $190 profit on MYM.
