I don’t recall the last time I posted, but know it was some time ago. Lets see in the last 6 months or so life has been hectic, I have tried various things to make some side cash outside of trading, not too much success. Honestly not enough time to commit to anything to give a fair opinion.
That said I am still learning the futures trading skill set if you will. I will say I am about 80% there on trading manually with confirmation based on indicators. The psychology will be the biggest barrier, confidence and time to study charts. Just to give a very positive review to the QuantVue team on product, I have been very happy so far.
Over the past 4 months or so they have come out with NT8 specific product, which is so much more usable for me. Now they have published a Automated Strategy, I will say even beyond that the group of traders, wow. This group of very skilled people are constantly tweaking, creating code, learning and sharing the learning, automating the systems that others on the larger team trade every day.
I think for me personally, this is a chance to learn to program in NT8 (been on list) and also work on a system that will really work for me long term. I also think prop trading could be the long term route for me, this will be another item to learn about that I can share my thoughts along the way.
