As mentioned in the last post I have been trading some settings in a SIM account, here are my results so far:
These results overall are not as good as expected with a profit factor over 4, but a net for long and short trades of 2.68 is a good result in anyone’s book. That said I will be going live with trading on the short side only for the time being as of 9/5/23.
I am also running simulations on MES for a more aggressive set of parameters, I will run those in SIM for a period as well. With these profits this is certainly not enough to trade full time as a living, but in the last month the net positive is over $900, this is a very good start.
