Just wanted to drop a note, I am on a much needed vacation with my family, I turned the algos off on Thursday, about a day too late as my 6E took a absolute beating on Wednesday, due to the Fed announcement I am sure. I will post the numbers later this week but in short it looks like I gave back all profits from the previous weeks in one bad day.
Truthfully this is the nature of trading futures, also of note I did not have some of the features of the AlgoNinja system turned on, specifically the money management feature that has a ton of powerful tools. On my next post I will go into more detail as to what these are and how they work, as I WILL be using them going forward, also will be avoiding trading on days of the Fed making statements.
On a positive note, I will be digging and and testing the newest version of AlgoNinja that the team has been working very hard on. I have not installed and learned all of the ins and outs of it but from what the developer has told me it will now allow a trader to place a trade and have the algo manage the exists as though the algo created the entry. This is a cool feature that I have not seen on the market yet. I will do a post on this while I am on vacation as well.
