5/28/21: What a Week

So I posted earlier in the week about my statistics month to day and talked about going live on 6E (EURO FX). Since that post I had some big ups and downs, the MNQ settings had (5) max loses back to back and my first trade in 6E was a loser. This is after both had shown great trader performance over the past couple of months, but this is the nature of the business. With that all in all I still finished in the green:

Some things to work on this weekend in prep for next week:

  • Review entry settings on MNQ
  • Optimize money management parameters for both 6E and MNQ
  • 6E could use some improved break even and trailing stop loss settings

To give some more insight into the week, to understand what a week trading futures can look like here is another view of the trading for the week:

Small wins to start, followed by two days of big loses but I stayed in it and added contracts to MNQ as I knew it would turn around. Today is proof that it would and this is with my shutting trading down at lunch time today.
